$5 Axis? No thanks.

Why is AXIS #1 $4.99? Is all of AXIS $4.99? It’s not going to be difficult to skip this entire thing (and whatever follows it) if you try to charge $5 an issue. I know you love to say that raising the price doesn’t lose readers, but you’ve lost me. I refuse to accept that its necessary for the biggest entertainment company on Earth to gouge kids for more of their comics money in order to stay in business. How does Image manage to put out (so many) great books every month for $2.99? How are they able to continue to exist (and make better books than most of what Marvel and DC publish) while still lowering back issue digital prices to $1.99? Surely they disagree with your argument that lower priced books don’t sell, which is so ridiculous I can’t believe you’d even try to float that here. And while I am asking questions, where did the letters pages go? Why am I paying more for less, how does that make any sense in an economy where everyone is strapped for cash? Or are you guys trying to price people out of the market of reading your books? Do you prefer that people trade-wait?

AXIS #1 is an oversized issue, hence the higher cover price.
