  • Magneto may have been safe from the Red Skull, but that's only because he had his helmet that protects him from psychic attacks. Red Skull was armed with the abilities of the most powerful telepath in the MU and was ready to start a new holocaust. I don't think killing him was at all wrong in that situation. You could maybe argue about the brutality of it, but he's a holocaust survivor in a concentration camp run by giga-Hitler.

    I don’t think that I’m arguing with it per se.

    People expressed shock or horror or whatever at the notion that character such as Havok, Wanda and Rogue would express shock and horror and disapproval over what Magneto did. I don’t think that’s the case at all. I’d be hard-pressed to think of a situation where any of those characters would give a big “attaboy” and a back-slap to anybody who’d beaten another person to death with their bare hands and a rock.

    That is what I am arguing.
