All of these edge of spider-verse issues have been soooo entertaining. Most definitely the highlight of my month! Could you see something like this becoming a thing annually, a writer doing their original take on the classic Spiderman story?

Sure, maybe. Although I think part of what’s making it work right now is the understanding that it’s all leading up to and into SPIDER-VERSE–that it’s all “Important” to the wider MU, as we talked about a few questions ago. if this was just being done as an anthology of alternate Spider-Man stories, I don’t think it’d be being received as well, or even noticed all that much.
