What's wrong with 616? It's even used in books you edit, like New Avengers, I never understood why so many people dislike it. Would they rather use Earth-1 like DC?

I find it both dumb and off-putting to a more casual reader. Your mileage may vary, and that’s fine.

raikolives said: Gotta call it something, right? And while some might love, and some might hate, changing it at this point would be a pretty hard sell, I’d guess. I will admit, though, it took me several years of reading Marvel before I found out what 616 meant.
