  • Is there a distinction in your mind between fans who complain about a comic for feminist reasons (eg the Spider-Woman variant cover) and fans who just complain because they don't like something or don't like change (eg the opponents of new Thor/Falcon)?

I think there’s a distinction between fans who state their opinions specifically and make their arguments cogently, such that they stand a chance of convincing somebody as to the validity of their complaints, and those fans who do not–regardless of the issues involved.
