I have a question for you, Tom... How does it feel for you, when you watch a Marvel movie or even a cartoon show? Does it feel different, because in comics you have the control over these characters? Are the movie characters like your children at that point? It boggles my mind!

Honest answer is that it feels like watching a movie or a TV show. If the work is good, I like it, and if not, I don’t. Occasionally there’s maybe some greater resonance, as in Avengers or Cap: Winter Soldier–but even there, it’s not really different from seeing Man of Steel or Dark Knight.
