  • One more question: How come The Watcher doesn't have pupils when his eyes are in his head but when the eyes are removed he suddenly has pupils? Is it because it was an eye opening experience?

    Perfectly honest answer: when Deo drew the first page showing the eye, it didn’t read as an eye. It looked like a big marble or something. So we chose to make the eyes look like eyes so as to help communicate what they were.
