>Hi, I just wanted to say how much I’ve been enjoying the books you guys are currently putting out. It’s awesome to see such a consistency in quality throughout the entire line, from smaller books like Black Widow and She-Hulk(loved hearing that Soule signed an exclusive with Marvel), and the bigger titles like the Avengers books that Hickman is masterfully crafting. I’m a newcomer to comics and did have a question about how long these comics typically take to make? I’m sure it varies on the creative team and book, but what would you say is the average length from the initial scripting/sketching stage to when it’s finally ready to ship out? I apologize for the lack of brevity in my post :) >

As most of our titles ship monthly (if not more often than monthly), the obvious answer is 30 days–that’s how much time passes between one release and the next. Now, typically it may take some of our creators, particularly artists, longer than that to be able to create each issue at the quality level for which they strive. Which is why, as people often ask, we routinely needs to have rotating teams of artists on most titles, or regular fill-ins.
