I get why so many battleboards questions. Comics is the only fictional media at all who fights and power levels are decided by "what servers the stories better" without furter explanation. Spiderman needs to beat FireLord ? Ok, he will punch him in the face. You will not find things like this in 99% of mangas, movies, fantasy books, videogames, etc. In others media, the authors give a "in universe" explanation to a win in a fight (strategy, weakeness explotation, etc). Why comics are so unlike?

I think that in almost every case, there is an in-story explanation–even if that explanation is simply “Spider-Man leaps around like crazy and repeatedly punches Firelord very hard.” What you’re saying, really, is that there isn’t an explanation that you in particular buy into and accept.

Comics is also the only fictional medium in which readers worry about these questions, for the most part. There aren’t many “Who’s stronger, Han Solo or Luke Skywalker” discussions–to say nothing of “Who’s a better shot, Han Solo or Indiana Jones.” So it’s a non-issue almost everyplace else.
