I was an Illustration major, I’m coming to this with a lot more than a BASIC sense of art theory.
It’s totally fine if you don’t like that particular piece. Different people have all sorts of reactions to all sorts of art.
Where it goes too far is when you start telling me what my opinion has to be or ought to be.
