  • Years ago I read an interview with Frank Miller where he stated that fans are perfectly entitled to have their own personal continuities; he stated that Electra would always be dead as far as he's concerned. As I get older, I find that I do this. If a fan REALLY disagrees with a direction, a resurrection, etc, why not stop where you still enjoyed it and move on to something else? Come back later. Obviously fans have the right to buy and read as they choose, but wouldn't this be healthier?

    Well, not for me–I like it when the fans read the books we do!

    Kidding! Yes, nobody should buy and read books they do not like.

    (I also would have taken Frank’s complaints more seriously even at the time had he himself not resurrected Elektra at the close of his original DAREDEVIL run.)
