  • If Big Hero 6 started off as an X-Men spin-off and Lord Deathstrike has so far only appeared in X-Men comics, doesn't this mean that you indeed do own the animated rights to the X-Men and not Fox? If that's the case, why hasn't there been a cartoon in four years? Do you still owe Fox money when it comes to animation or does Fox only own the live action X-Men rights?

    You’re asking about film and animation rights issues, and this is my fault for actually half-answering a question about this stuff.

    None of that is my area, nor is it stuff that it’s appropriate for us to discuss publicly. That’s about the specifics on one of Marvel’s licensing deals, sorry.
