Frankly, I know nothing about Angela's backstory before she got picked up by Marvel, but I think Al Ewing and Jason Aaron are doing a pretty great job developing what feels like a brand new but pretty poignant and interesting world for her to be from and I look forward to it clashing with other parts of the Marvel Universe over time. I can't wait for Maria Hill vs Angels in Secret Avengers in 2018 or Nova awkwardly clashing against them or what not.
Excellent! And I agree, they are doing a terrific job on that series. Also, it’s worth noting that Joe Quesada spent an awful lot of time building the backstory and the “world” of Angela as it relates to the Marvel Universe, so many if not most of the core ideas came from him–to say nothing of the visual designs.
