  • Tom, I think Dan Slott said in the Spider-Verse announcements that there were 7 or 8 versions of the character he couldn't use for one reason or another. Can you tell us which ones, or is there an NDA? Or would it just be inappropriate, since the co-owners of the rights to those versions are business partners? (Some of them are pretty obvious, like the movie versions and the Amalgam Spider-Boy)

    That’s exactly the case. It’s all the versions of Spider-Man to which Marvel does not have the entirety of the rights.
