I wouldn't take that bet about the heroes reverting if you gave ten to one odds. 1) You know the planned duration of storylines. 2) Any marketable change tends to lead to a sales bump- one that would probably last several months, any reversion prior would make zero sense. 3 The movie audience is not the comic audience and they won't even be buying the books for the most part. And the comic fans will buy books and see the films regardless. Marvel has no reason to revert. Sucker bet, Tom. Cruel.

I make no bones about the fact that it’s a sucker’s bet.

But if it generates some revenue for the Hero Initiative, that’s not a bad thing!

And if it gives irate fans a place to put their money where their convictions lie, that’s entirely up to them. Nobody has to believe me.
