You've made several comments about things not changing back in time to match up with the movie counterparts...but if having the comics' key attributes match with the movies is no big deal, then please feel free to explain why we've seen organic webshooters, return of Peter Parker just in time for the next movie, and a black, one-eyed Nick Fury in the 616. Why bother even trying to spin this stuff? I'd respect you a lot more if you just admitted it, because we're not as stupid as you think.

If you think I’m lying, go ahead and put down your $100 for the Hero Initiative.

As we’ve said countless times, we are not bound by what the movies do–and, in fact, we’ve often been in a very different place with a given character when a film has come out. That all said, the fact that more people will immediately be more familiar with a particular iteration of a character is often a good reason to steer into that interpretation. And our creators, writers and artists can be just as inspired by what they see in the films as any of you fans are.
