  • I ain't one of the crazy NINO freaks but after hearing that Kevin Feige cut Nova from the Original Script of GOTG due to "internal changes" which in my mind seems to have to do with Marvel catering to Jeph Loeb due to his son's death and now the fans get robbed , and they get robbed from a Cinematic NOVA , Imagine it , GOTG is a spectacular hit , you know Kevin would have had the wiggle room for a solo NOVA movie after , that really just sucks bro

First off, I can guarantee you that Kevin Feige doesn’t take his orders from Jeph Loeb.

You clearly misread Kevin’s quote–Nova was never in any draft of a script, but rather a character they were considering including at the outset, and decided against.

And while I wasn’t a part of those discussions, I think the reason for cutting out Nova is pretty obvious when you think about the movie that they made. The premise of GUARDIANS seems to be about an Earthman in space who unites a rough-and-tumble band of aliens against a cosmic threat. That doesn’t really work as well if you’ve got two Earthmen–which one is your lead?
