Hey Tom, I have an Infinity #1 question: In the opening pages of Infinity #1, the Illuminati appear to blow up a world. But then for the rest of the series and subsequent NA issues, it seems that they've never used their doomsday devices. Am I confused on this point, or was the opening scene in Infinity #1 a glimpse of the future yet to happen? And thanks for answering these questions!

The Illuminati have destroyed Earths, but only dead, lifeless Earths, as we’ve seen on occasion in NEW AVENGERS. That opening scene in INFINITY #1 is a reprise of a scene from NEW AVENGERS.
