What are your thoughts on all of the attention the Internet's been giving Richard Rider as of late? Does the publicity of an older character harm the brand, seeing as you guys are pushing Sam Alexander, or is this a case of all publicity is good publicity? Also, are you surprised at the number of people who seem keen to see Rich Rider return that aren't the loud, arrogant, vocal minority that you usually deal with? (A Google search of the last month shows how diverse Rich's fans are.)
I don’t know, I’m glad that there are people who are happy that we’re doing a story that involved Rich, but I can’t say that I’ve seen the huge groundswell of interest that you’re talking about. From my vantage point, it seems very much that the people who have always expressed a liking for Rich, whether or not they liked or disliked Sam, seem to be happy that it’s happening. But the conversation isn’t dominating the net or anything.
