Kelly had every say in it–her and her editors. They chose to do those tie-ins in order to bolster sales on CAPTAIN MARVEL and AVENGERS ASSEMBLE at that point. Had they not been done, that wouldn’t have affected anything about INFINITY at all, nice tie-in stories though they were.
