At what point do you pull a book from a publisher.? It has been 5 years since It was accepted & the asigned artist has only done 4 pages. I am looking to a career as a comic writer, & fear It would be unprofessional to pull it & start pitching again.

That’s a choice that only you can make, because you’re the one in command of your career and you are the one who’ll have to live with the results of whatever choices you make.
if it doesn’t seem like the project is going anywhere, and you have the option to pull it, then that’s certainly an option.
