  • Hey Tom, just a question regarding Time Runs Out: I have been following Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers story almost exclusively as it, for the most part, has sold itself as a large scale self-contained story. With this new 8 month jump it seems that a lot of outside continuity is working its way into the narrative. Will I be lost if I haven't been reading Cap or Uncanny Avengers or Thor for examples? All great books that I will check out one day but on my budget I simply can't afford them.

There won’t be any more outside continuity than there typically is in an issue of AVENGERS or NEW AVENGERS. So whatever relevant changes have transpired to the characters will be reflected therein. But it won’t be so enmeshed in the minutae of continuity that you’ll need a doctorate in Marvelology to understand what’s going on.
