Hi, Tom. 99% of what you said about issue numbering makes sense; my only objection is that, unlike with other magazines, one *often* directs people to specific issues of comics, and that's become dashedly difficult these days -- "Take a look at issue three of The Avengers," could refer to seven different comics, for example. It would be terribly helpful if the volume number was included somewhere on the cover. It wouldn't have to be glaringly obvious, just there for those who know to look.
