What's the status of the Genndy Tartakovsky CAGE! mini-series? Announced seven years ago, Genndy said to ComicsAlliance in 2012 that the book had been written and drawn and just needed inking and colouring. Any chance it can see the light of day before the Netflix series creates some buzz for the character?

Genndy hasn’t finished inking it, and the editor that was working with him is no longer on staff–I don’t know that anybody here has been in contact with him in some time.

So yes, it might be able to be finished at some point, but we’ll need to re-establish contact and then pull a schedule together for it.
