Were the letter pages for the Amalgam comics real or just a joke?

Yes, we received letters from another dimension.:)
Those letters pages were all made up. I wrote the one in SPIDER-BOY, a fact that is obvious when you realize that all of the letters come from characters in the Dick Van Dyke Show.
