  • What type of mystery stories suit the comic medium best: stories where an astute enough reader can figure it out with just what's on the page or stories where the cards are played close to the chest until it's time for big reveals without many clues? Not trying to fish for anything that would ruin OS (esp after reading the cbr interview) but I'm really fascinated by how marvel approaches such a noir mystery angle.

    As I’ve said about other things, I don’t think this is a one-size-fits-all situation. There are different ways to do a mystery story, and they can be done effectively in all of them. So it all depends upon what the storytelling goals are, what the creators are trying to achieve with this particular project.
