What did you think of Peter David working it into X-Factor as a plot point with Siryn and Banshee?
I’d have liked it better if I hadn’t seen him do the exact same bit with Rick Jones years before–a character for whom you could more readily make the argument that they would understand and acknowledge the rules of the fictional universe they inhabit.
So no, didn’t like it. It’s a scene for readers who are cynical and have read too many comic books, rather than for human beings.
