I have collected marvel comics as a kid, and picked up again in the past four years or so. Looking at your blog I'm genuinely concerned that all comic fans are a bunch of assholes. Should I be more assholier? And should I not like the NOVA run? I do
No, the vocal fans, and the fans who ask the same question over again and again here aren’t necessarily representative of all fans. Most of our readers are vibrant, interesting, sane people. Only a few become obsessive about some particular thing–and even then, not all of them are assholeish about it.
And you should like what you like, for whatever reason you like it.
