In the 80s and 90s, I had some letters published in a few Marvel comics. I hoped to find them in Marvel Unlimited for nostalgia's sake, but see that letters pages aren't included in old issues. So that got me wondering: why not? Surely they'd be an interesting part of the issue, historically and contextually speaking, along with the bullpen bulletins and all that. Is it a rights issue?
It’s not a rights issue, more of a return on time and space issue. Those letters pages and Bullpen pages are of interest to a relative few, so having them take up space in our collections (from which most all of the Unlimited files are drawn) doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.
We have been including them in our classic Omnibuses.
