Virtually every long term member of the Hulk's supporting cast has powers nearly identical to his, now. When Mort Weisinger used to do that sort of contrived thing in old Superman comics, Stan Lee rightly called it Brand Ecch, so why is it cool now?

You’re complaining about a storyline that’s something like five years old now, you know that? It’s kind of all said and done.
And the Hulk has an entirely new cast at the moment, none of whom are Hulks.
