  • I don't know, Nate Grey seems pretty straight forward to me: he's what Cable would've become had he not been limited by the technorganic virus. The problem is that he's not often presented as a counterpoint to Cable, but instead as his own side character, who--in that context--has far too much power.

    A character that is defined in opposition to another character doesn’t make for a great lead. That works if he’s the arch-nemesis of the guy you’re putting him in contrast to, but not as a core concept by itself.
