  • Dear Tom, I'm sure this question has been answered a billion ways from Sunday, probably half those times by yourself. However, this picture has been making the rounds of Loki running to the toilet and finding Mjolnir sitting on the closed lid. So how exactly does the enchantment on Mjolnir work-- can it only not be LIFTED by the unworthy-- i.e. it could be pushed off in this example? Or can the unworthy not move it AT ALL?

There are two components to this:

    1) the enchantment

    2) the natural weight of the hammer. It’s a crazy heavy thing, even without any enchantment on it.

Could you push it to dislodge it in such a situation? Possibly, were you strong enough. I’d guess that would be beyond Loki’s physical abilities, though.
