  • Why do new villains have such a high mortality rate compared to older/classic ones? Sometimes the creator of the villain is the one who kills them off. Wouldn't it be better ti keep new villains around to add some new blood?

    I don’t think that they do. In his first five years, Doctor Doom didn’t exit a story in any other way than seemingly dying. But those villains kept on being brought back.
