Does Marvel still get any angry mail from parents complaining about sex and violence in books they bought for their kids (that they should have looked at before buying) and that "comics are suposed to be for kids"?

On occasion, yes.
That message sometimes takes a different form, such as all of the people irate that we were publishing MS MARVEL, sight-unseen. But it also includes people who bought a book for a child that they thought would be harmless and found that it was more adult in content in one way or another than they were comfortable with.
