Do editors ever give colorists notes on skin tone? If not, why not? Don't you think it's important that non-Caucasian characters not look Caucasian? How often have Storm, M, and Darwin skewed too the lighter side? Its institutional bias at work, and I hope you guys start caring at some point. Everything matters when dealing with a lack of proper representation. I hope you start caring about that too.

Editors give color notes about everything. But there are also a lot of things to give color notes about.

And giving people proper representation is an important part of what we do. but it isn’t the most important part–that would be storytelling. So that takes the greatest priority.
