Enjoyed 1st 2 issues of She-Hulk immensely, applaud marvel for allowing creators to run with left of center titles like she-hulk, hawkeye, etc. Question is how does marvel calculate when its time to pull the plug on a book? Obviously sales are a huge factor, imagine "buzz" comes into play- but a book like Fraction's defenders, I seem to recall him stating in interviews that marvel knew it was going to be canceled before the 1st issue shipped. non A-list type books have tough road to hoe.
If Matt said that, then he was using hyperbole. There was a point where we realized that the series wasn’t going to go the distance, but it wasn’t that early.
When a book stops pulling its weight and contributing its share to the bottom line, then we end it–simple as that.
