I've recently re-read the 1983 Annual of Thor, with the origin of Demogorge, and i noticed how similar the funeral scene of Nanna at the start was with the funeral in the Dark world movie down to the "spirit" of the dead woman rising as light to the sky, except for the Valkirie carrying her to Valhalla. Do the Asgardians in the movie HAVE an afterlife and Valkiryes, even if in a "pseudoscience as magic" way? if i recall, the Einherjar are Odin's guard, and Valhalla is a dinigroom in the movies..
