Dear Mr. Brevoort, please excuse me asking anonymously, but this is very touchy subject for me. I recently was made aware of one of your upcoming books, Avengers Undercover, and could not believe some of the things the writer said in interviews. Please understand that PTSD is a serious issue for some of us, and it is incredibly hurtful to see the term carelessly thrown around to promote a story reinforcing every harmful stigma of psychological trauma and sabotage the struggle we make every day.

I feel like PTSD is a topic that super hero comics are well-positioned to deal with.
So I would ask that you judge the story, and the depiction of the situation, by the story, and not by interviews or online stories beforehand.
I don’t believe that anybody involved in AVENGERS UNDERCOVER is making any attempt to belittle or misrepresent your situation.
