I know you hate questions based on previews, but this preview has dialogue and nothing will change from when the issue comes out. In All-New X-Men J'Son brings up that the Sh'iar killed Jean Grey's entire family, much to Jean Grey's shock. You're telling me that not only did nobody tell Jean that her family was dead, but that during the time she's been in the present she didn't once try to contact her family or see how they're doing?

First off, it hasn’t been that long since the O5 came to our time. Sure, 22 issues or whatever, but that doesn’t equate to 22 months of time if you sit down and look at it.

But more specifically, wouldn’t it be terribly cruel for Jean to do so? She’s dead, long dead, in this time period. So her showing up in front of her family, a family who believed her dead, would be a pretty traumatic thing.

Plus, I expect, assorted X-Men steered her away from it assuming it ever came up, citing not wanting to do further damage to the timeline and whatnot.
