  • Just saw the preview pages for "She-Hulk" #3. There is a reference to Dr. Victor von Doom's son in the solicit text. Is that referring to Kristoff Vernard? If so, is that supposed to be him in the art? If so again, that doesn't look like any version of Kristoff I've ever seen. If nothing else, Kristoff is supposed to be Franklin's age and this fella looks like a teenager or twenty-year-old. What's up?

See, I have to say, this is part of why I hate those previews that we send out. Every week, I get four or five questions just like this one. And the answer to maybe 80% of them is to read the book that’s being previewed. After that, if the situation happens to fall in that other 20%, that’s when we can get into it.

I suppose it’s the inevitable result of the kind of storytelling that we do, but it certainly seems like our fans, at least the hardcore ones that check out the comics news sites and such daily if not more frequently are hyper-sensitized to anything that might be a development that they might not like.

But you’re asking the question based on the TV commercial. Wait until the show comes on–and afterwards, I’m happy to get into it with you!

    And relax! It’s comics! Fun!
