any chance of an weekly marvel series, just thinking aloud why not make avengers world weekly and merge some of the other avengers books which really sometimes do get lost in all the clutter. This way you can do a might avengers story for a few issues a secret avengers story for a few issues as well as continue to have your avenegrs world spotlight issues on different characters
This is something that we’ve talked about on occasion, and might yet try. The difficulty, really, is that it kind of flies in the face of the way we typically build our series, and what our fans as a whole seem to want from them. While there are AVENGERS fans who keep up with most if not all of the books, there are also those who are only interested in one or two–and the need to constantly rotate not merely between characters but creative teams as well seems like the sort of thing that would irritate a lot of readers–it’s a bit different than building the thrice-monthly AMAZING SPIDER-MAN int hat it wouldn’t be a soap opera about a single character’s life and world. So while it sounds like an obvious idea, it’s also one with some genuine drawbacks to it.
But you never know, we might get bold and give it a whirl at some point.
