I love Tom DeFalco. Genuinely.

But if THUNDERSTRIKE had been selling better than AVENGERS and THOR, do you think it would have been cancelled?

On the stupidest day in the history of our company, one with many stupid decisions in its long and storied history, nobody was ever that stupid.

What Tom is actually saying, assuming that he was being quoted correctly, was that THUNDERSTRIKE was selling better on the newsstand.

But all of the sales from all of the assorted distribution channels go into the same pot–and what you’ve got in that pot needs to be enough to make a series profitable and viable. If not, away it goes!

So at the moment, no real plans for T-STRIKE. Sorry.

It was a book that I enjoyed at the time.
