You mention the end of Sopranos and the different enjoyment depending on the type of fan and what they value. I'm curious: what are your thoughts on the end of LOST?

I wasn’t a follower of LOST, so it’s difficult to say.

I do tend to think that, if you’re doing what amounts to a mystery story, then it’s incumbent upon you to resolve that mystery in a satisfying way for the audience.

But I suppose we could argue about what constitutes satisfying. And I don’t really have the background on the show for it.
