Honestly, legitimately, we don’t want you feeling like you’re wasting your time and money on our stories. We want you invested in what’s going on, absolutely, and we do everything in our power to bring you back again next issue. But it’s not a requirement.

You’re a human being with free will. You choose what entertainment you consume. So if GUARDIANS or NOVA or whatever isn’t doing it for you, if you feel like you’re never going to get whatever answers you want, then it’s all right to stop–to walk away. You can always come back at some later point if things change.

But you got $200 worth of stories for your money, and that’s the only guaranteed part of the exchange. So none of that money was wasted–you got exactly what you paid for.
