No, I didn't mean would the Nightcrawler solo be a driving force in franchise direction, as I expect that's left to team books. It was more a question of whether it would deliver some emotional impact and reactions to things like Schism. It's well and good to present that Cyclops and Wolverine don't agree and that the X-Men have taken sides against one another, but I'd be interested in reading some deeper thoughts on the subject from the XMen. I was curious if it would be used in part for that.

NIGHTCRAWLER is going to be a series about Nightcrawler and his current situation and adventures. It’s not going to be a series about commenting on other stories in other books throughout the line. If there’s a place in a story where it’s relevant for Kurt to get into these issues, then I’m sure that he will–but that’s not really Job One (or even Job Seven.)
