In a very recent issue of Hickman's Avengers, both Wolverine and Spider-Man were booted off the roster--Wolverine for being weak and spread too thing, and Spider-Man for being superior. Are they both off the team, and other books (like Avengers World and Avengers Assemble) haven't caught up with this roster development yet? Or, did Cap and Tony have a change of heart?
You didn’t read that issue closely enough, I think. Neither character was “booted off the team.” Cap had concerns for Wolverine’s health and benched him–that’s not booting him. And he’s concerned about Spider-Man’s behavior, which we’ve seen playing out in SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN.
