Got a new job in customer service for a bin company. Since I started I've been shocking by how the public have abused me. What's particularly bizarre for me is that in my previous job I had to speak to people about illnesses, financial losses and familial losses etc. Since you've been taking abuse from the public for longer what's your take on why people behave with serious issues but go crazy over things that aren't that important?(not saying comics aren't important but no real people are dying

I can’t really speak for a situation like yours–in person, overall, Marvel fans have been pleasant and interesting and well-behaved for the most part, even the ones who didn’t like some story-turn in the books. It’s really the ease and anonymity of the Internet that allows our irate readers the license to behave badly–in a phenomenon not that far removed from Peter Parker putting on a mask and acting like a different person as Spider-Man.
