  • Although it's okay for the Ultimate Universe to deviate, is it really necessary that their motto is practically "we can do *extreme* things we can't on the Marvel Universe"? There isn't a need to blow up a city each month (including mine :( in Ultimate Comics Ultimates #1) or kill every character unkillable in Earth-616.

    “Necessary” is perhaps too strong a word. But they’re a Universe in which they can take dramatic advantage of doing things that we would not do in the main MU. So shouldn’t they act upon that ability?
