New Brevoort Formspring

Tom, I'm honestly trying to give Sam Alexander a fair shake here. That said, given what we've read thus far the plot has been uninspiring, hackneyed and juvenile. I can't help but think that this book could have been called "Spacekid" and not missed a beat. What exactly was the point of switching the characters again?
