Tom, what would you say has been Marvels best retcon? And, similarly, which one do you think has been its worst? And what are you opinions on retcons in general?

Marvel’s best retcon: Captain America went into suspended animation near the end of WWII.
Worst? Plenty of contenders, but I’d go with Mary Jane Watson has known that Peter Parker was Spider-Man since virtually day one.
Retcons are simply another tool in the storyteller’s toolbox–they can be done well and they can be done poorly.
